Supporting Students Through the Transition to College

The transition from high school to college brings exciting opportunities, but it can also create new challenges. For many students, this is the first time they manage academic demands, social pressures, schedules, finances, and healthcare independently.

Bridging the gap

Mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, sleep difficulties, and stress can become more noticeable during this period of adjustment. Maintaining consistent psychiatric care can help students stay focused on their goals while navigating college demands.

At Mental Health Haven, we help bridge the gap between home and college by providing continuity of care for students throughout their academic journey.

Care That Moves With You

College students can continue receiving psychiatric care through secure telehealth appointments while away at school. In-person appointments are available during school breaks, holidays, or visits home.

This flexible approach allows students to maintain an established relationship with their provider rather than interrupting treatment or searching for new providers each semester.
